Valentine's Day

We had a lovely Valentine's Day! Brooks and I made a giant chocolate chip heart shaped cookie, and Garrett made me a special dinner! This is the one night out of the whole year that he cooks dinner for me :) I love it - he puts so much thought and effort into it - such a treat!

Don't worry, I didn't let him eat the whole thing :) He liked trying to pick out all of the chocolate chips.

It's a boy!!

8 lbs. 7oz.

19.5 inches

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new little one! Tanner decided to arrive 5 days early. I had a very smooth delivery ~ started having contractions during the early morning of the 13th. We arrived at the hospital shortly before 7 am, and at 9:52 am we were surprised with a new little boy! Everyone is happy and healthy and adjusting well. I am just over the moon to be a mother of two healthy little boys.

What have we been up to?

The real question is: what HAVEN'T we been up to?

2 1/2 weeks ago we signed closing papers for our new house!

Then we had a few days of celebrating Christmas with all our family

1 1/2 weeks ago we moved into our new house

Then I turned the big 30!

So needless to say, time has been flying, and life has been a little crazy, BUT, I wouldn't change it for the world. Everything has been so exciting (and tiring at times) ~ we are very blessed.
