A Day in Portland

On Sunday we went to Portland for the day to visit Russell and Anna! We checked out their new apartment - its super cute and in a great location. We had lunch at an awesome buffalo wings place, then headed to Laurelhurst park. What a fantastic park - it had a large pond with ducks, lots of open fields, and some really neat walking trails. Not to mention the weather was absolutely perfect! We had a fantastic day with them, and can't wait to get back down for another visit!

Mother's Day

We had a wonderful Mother's Day! We met my parents and in-laws for brunch, and then we all walked around the Wooden Boat Festival on the waterfront. It was warm and sunny out - such a treat! Later that day at home, we had some fun playing in the backyard, and then Garrett BBQ'd for dinner. It was the perfect day! I just love being a mom - I am amazed of Brooks everyday, and feel very blessed.

I am so blessed to have two very special women in my lives - my mom and mother-in-law. They are both amazing women! I am SUPER lucky!
