1 Year Photos

We had some photos taken to celebrate Brooks' 1st year! It was a very fun afternoon spent at the Capitol, with a friend of ours from high school ~ Jonathan Marrs. He now has a very successful photography business down in Portland, and drove up for the day to take some pics. We are thrilled with all of them! Brooks was such a trooper (quite the little ham)!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! Saturday we dyed eggs, Sunday we did an egg hunt at church, then out to brunch, then home to hang out with the family! It was really great to spend this special day with family and friends.

Getting ready to dye eggs...this is right before he figured out to "bang" the egg so it would crack - so fun! He wasn't too interested in eating the egg - poor Oly had squished egg all over her back as she was patiently waiting for Brooks to hand her some - this was quite fun to throw on the floor (or on Oly I should say!) Meanwhile Mom and Dad dyed the eggs :)
