Brooks' first UW game

Last weekend we took Brooks to his first UW game! We had a blast, and ever since he gets quite excited when he sees anything related to football - he yells "ball" and "yeah!" The dawgs lost that day, but that's okay, we had a great time and can't wait to go back in a few weeks.

First Day of "Preschool"

Last week we started a Mommy & Me class at preschool. It was sooo much fun! We did an art project, sang songs, had a snack, played on the playground. I am so excited about doing this with Brooks, and think its a great introduction into a school setting.

Summer's Finale

Well, summer is officially over...we just got back from vacation with our good friends the Linns. We rented a house on Lake Entiat near Wenatchee, WA. We had a fabulous week - lots of relaxation, boating, fishing, games, and eating! We just love traveling with the Linns - its a perfect match with our kids so close in age - and boy do they love each other. Every morning Brooks would wake up and immediately call out Tali's name!

One day we headed to the Applets & Cotlets factory in Cashmere - it was really neat to see how they made their candies. Everything is still packaged by hand.

Another day we headed to Leavenworth for lunch and some shopping - it was gorgeous out! Its such a cute little German town.

Sunriver

We had a wonderful trip to Sunriver, OR - it was a week full of sun, good food, bike rides, swimming, fishing, and lots of ice cream! This has been one of our favorite vacation spots ever since I was little - and I am so excited to continue that tradition with Brooks.

I went fishing with my Dad, Erik and Garrett - we went to Wickiup Lake for a halfday. I was so excited to go on my 2nd fishing trip ever. I had a great day with the guys - but I do have to brag - I caught the first fish of the day, and also the biggest :)

Brooks loved playing in the little tent my dad set up for him on the deck - but he insisted that you take off your shoes first!

Brooks loved riding in the little trailer. All the other kids we passed on the trails would be sound asleep in them - but not Brooks - he didn't want to miss anything!

We had a great time at both the indoor and outdoor pools - so fun to play around in the water with Brooks - he loved it!
